Melissa Brisbois (BRIZ-bow) builds successful businesses. She recognizes opportunities to meet important needs and finds innovative ways to deliver them.

Her first business, a multimillion-dollar success, led to her being recruited as a top executive to spend several years in corporate direct sales, where she tripled customers and revenues before returning to her first love, building her own business by creating an entirely new niche. Her second company, Better Counsel, is all about business leadership and is actually the parent corporation to A Better Will.

In everything she does, Melissa is committed to two principles: first, that putting family first ensures personal and financial success, and second, that one purpose of financial success is to prepare for life’s milestone events. A Better Will supports both of those principles, and helps everyone involved – Advocates as well as clients – to meet their personal and family goals.

Melissa earned her BBA in Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin, and took additional advanced courses at Rice University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is married with 2 teenagers.
